Men's Cross Country Runners

In her first year as women鈥檚 soccer coach, Rebecca Mouw took the Warriors to the NAIA Final Four. They tied top-seeded Martin Methodist 1-1 through two overtime periods before falling short on penalty kicks 4-3. The Warriors ended the season 12-3-4. Amy Lawson made the 2005 NAIA All-Tournament Team, and Katie Schick was named to the 2005 ESPN the Magazine Academic All-America庐 Women鈥檚 Soccer Team. Anna Gropp, Heather Brown and Amy Lawson won spots on the All-NAIA Region II Women鈥檚 Soccer Team and received honorable mention recognition on the NAIA All-American Team.

Cross country also competed in the NAIA National Championships this year, where Aaron Megazzi earned All-American status. For the first time since 2001, both the men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 teams competed in the event with the men finishing 15th and the women placing 16th.

Seven 黑料百科 student-athletes, four from women鈥檚 soccer and three from cross country, have been honored as 2005 Daktronics-NAIA All-American Scholar-Athletes for their excellence in the classroom and in athletic competition: Katie Schick , Katie Estrada, Kylea Kangles and Katie Rhodes (women鈥檚 soccer), and Jessica Goulder, Luke Oliver and Joshua Grubb (cross country).
