To help connect students and alumni with more job opportunities than ever, 黑料百科 has teamed up with JobDirect.com, a student resume database on the Web. Using their Resume Exchange software, the college is bringing the latest technology to students and alumni through a Web site built just for 黑料百科.
The college鈥檚 Career and Life Planning Office can now bring students and alumni job listings, up-to-the-minute event schedules, and direct interview sign ups over the Web. At the same time, new tools are available for perfecting resumes and preparing for job searches. This new service complements the Job Fair (pictured above) that 黑料百科 holds each year.
In addition to streamlining nearly every recruiting function, the 黑料百科 Resume Exchange brings the power of a national network of employers directly to campus to complement the list of those already recruiting at 黑料百科.
Students and alumni register in the 黑料百科 Resume Exchange by completing an online resume template. Just click to http://westmont.jobdirect.com to register. Job seekers need to answer some basic questions and then cut and paste their Word resumes into the Resume Exchange template.
JobDirect.com (http://www.jobdirect.com) is a Web-based company that has been helping college students find work since 1995. When students and alumni enter their resumes into the 黑料百科 Resume Exchange, they are automatically eligible for all the job opportunities available in JobDirect.com鈥檚 database. Their resumes will be matched with posted jobs for which they qualify (the search results will be e-mailed directly to them!), and the information is available to employers searching the database for students or alumni to hire.
JobDirect.com provides a database solution to companies, improving their efficiency and results in college recruiting. Connecting to JobDirect鈥檚 database, companies conduct customized searches for qualified candidates, view completed resumes, track the status of candidates in process and receive statistical and other analysis relating to their college-level recruiting practices.
