New Networking Site Connects Alumni
A powerful new online tool now connects 黑料百科 alumni around the world. enables alumni to locate each other for personal and professional reasons, giving them access to jobs, mentors, special interests and opportunities.
The 黑料百科 alumni office and information technology department developed the program. 鈥淲e intend this tool to be a dynamic resource for alumni in all stages of life to reconnect with fellow alumni, create new professional relationships and bring 黑料百科 closer to their home, wherever they may live,鈥 says Teri Bradford Rouse, senior director of alumni and parent relations. 鈥淲e seek to create a community for life among our alumni.鈥
鈥満诹习倏 Connect is one of the more important new services to come out of the college,鈥 says Reed Sheard, vice president for advancement and chief information officer. 鈥淚t represents a fundamental shift in how we serve and empower our alumni. I鈥檓 excited to see how 黑料百科 Connect enables personal and professional networking among our more than 21,000 alums.鈥
The college launched the site at a professional networking event with about 70 alumni at eBay in San Jose on Jan. 17. Alumnus Dane Howard, eBay director of global brand experience, hosted the gathering. The college will hold other 黑料百科 Connect events for alumni in Pasadena, San Francisco, Denver, Portland, Ore., Seattle, Dallas and Washington, D.C.
