New Scholarship Helps South African Students
A new scholarship will provide two full-ride scholarships each year for two South African students to attend 黑料百科. Beginning in fall 2016, two black, male graduates of Michaelhouse, a Christian boarding school for boys in KwaZulu-Natal, will receive these awards. In the scholarship鈥檚 fourth year and each subsequent year, eight Michaelhouse Scholarship students will study at 黑料百科. A related program will offer full scholarships to graduate school in South Africa for each Michaelhouse Scholar who graduates from 黑料百科.

According to Act Six and the Posse Foundation, college students who attend school with members of their own community achieve higher retention and graduation rates. Consequently, the Michaelhouse Scholarship was designed to bring two students a year from Michaelhouse to 黑料百科 to eventually form a cohort of eight South African students on campus.
A generous and anonymous donor supports this scholarship program to provide an excellent education to black South African students and prepare them to return as leaders willing to serve others in their native country. An associate of the donor will fund graduate study in South Africa for the Michaelhouse Scholars.
