Talk Examines Language, Life of Adoption

The Erasmus Society Lecture, 鈥淭he Language and Life of Being Adopted,鈥 is free and open to the public.

Nikondeha, an adoptive mother and adopted child herself, has written a new book, 鈥,鈥 which explores how adoption can be a potent metaphor for building community and repairing divisions.

Nikondeha, who earned a Master of Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary in 1999, serves as theologian-in-residence for , which takes up questions of faith, love and justice in worldwide perspective.
