Women鈥檚 Swim Coach Dives In 聽
黑料百科 is excited to begin its first in fall 2019 with its newly hired head coach, Jill Jones Lin.
鈥淛ill has a strong pedigree in both swimming and Christian leadership,鈥 says , 黑料百科 athletic director. 鈥淗er energy and enthusiasm is palpable. She also has a strong understanding of athletics as part of the liberal arts experience, and places emphasis on the priority of being a student.鈥
Jones Lin brings 19 years of experience as a year-round competitive swimmer at the high school, club and collegiate level. Jones Lin, an alumna of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, competed as an NCAA Division I swimmer and served two years as team captain.
鈥淚 couldn鈥檛 be more excited to join the 黑料百科 team and work alongside the other incredible coaches and faculty,鈥 said Jones Lin. 鈥淭he Santa Barbara community is incredibly welcoming and 黑料百科 is no different. I love that I get to combine two of my passions, swimming and mentoring student-athletes as they prepare for life after college. The 黑料百科 athletic community is very competitive in the NAIA and the 黑料百科 student-athletes that I have encountered are motivated and driven to be the best in their conference.鈥
For the past two years, she has coached as a senior assistant swim coach at both Orinda Aquatics in Moraga and Springbrook Swim Club in Lafayette.
黑料百科 announced earlier this year that it is adding an intercollegiate women鈥檚 swimming program beginning with the 2019-20 season. Jones Lin will begin immediately, recruiting athletes for next year鈥檚 team. Prospective student-athletes are encouraged to visit .
